At Kindersley & District Co-operative, we believe in reinvesting in the communities that support us. As a locally owned and member-driven organization, our commitment goes beyond business — it extends to supporting the next generation of leaders, tradespeople, and professionals.

“Locally Invested in Your Future” reflects exactly that. It means your community believes in you and is actively supporting your next steps — whether that’s post-secondary education or entering a recognized trade. Through this scholarship program, we are proud to reinvest in local students and help build a stronger future for our communities.

Each year, scholarships are awarded to graduating students from our service area — including Kindersley Composite School, Eaton School, Kerrobert Composite School, and Westcliffe School — who are continuing their education beyond high school.

Scholarship Value

Two (2) scholarships will be awarded in 2026.
Each scholarship has a value of $2,000.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Be a Grade 12 student graduating in 2026
• Be entering post-secondary education or a recognized trade program
• Reside within the Kindersley & District Co-op trading area, including:
  • Kindersley
  • Coleville
  • Kerrobert
  • Eatonia
  • Marengo
  • Brock

Applicants must also outline:

• Involvement in sports, school, and community activities
• Volunteer experience
• Work experience
• The type and length of program being entered
• Approximate annual cost of the program
• Any additional information they feel is important
• A completed application form is required, along with one letter of reference from a teacher, employer, minister, or coach.

Selection Process

Applications will be reviewed by the Member Relations Committee of the Kindersley & District Co-operative Board of Directors.

In selecting recipients, the Committee will consider:

• Co-op knowledge and/or experience
• Community involvement and volunteerism
• Work experience
• Program of study or trade

Scholarships will be presented at Graduation 2026. Recipients may also be recognized at their school’s graduation ceremony, and photos will be taken for public announcement.
