The Kindersley & District Co-op is pleased to announce a $250,000 donation to the Kids Academy Early Learning Centre.

What is the Kid's Academy?

The Kids Academy is the NEW sister Childcare Centre to the exisiting Kinder Kollege. Kinder Kollege is located at Westberry School in Kindersley, SK and is currenty at capacity with 25 licensed spaces. Due to the growing demand for affordable childcare in Kindersley, Kinder Kollege was granted 40 government funded spots. With this grant, the decision was made to build a brand new Childcare Centre.

Who will the Kid's Academy serve?

Kid's Academy will provide subsidized childcare to children ages 6 months to 5 years. The facility will offer six infant spots, twenty toddler spots, sixty preschool spots as well as thirty before and after school program spots. There will also be designated spots available for school-aged children during holidays and professional development days.

The location of the new facility will be: 200 Thompson Drive, Kindersley, SK.

The current wait list for the Kinder Kollege is over 120 children.
