While Enbridge was in Kindersley replacing line 3, Enbridge and contractor personnel were encouraged to use a Kindersley and District Co-op number. They built up a large sum of equity with the Kindersley and District Co-op — $26269.00 to be precise.
Kindersley and District Co-op was one of the 9 Co-ops across Saskatchewan and Manitoba that took part in raising equity to give back to the community program.

All $26269 raised was donated to West Central Abilities, West Central Crisis Center and the Kindersley and District Food Bank.
This was two years ago and now that restrictions are lifted, we got the opportunity to get everyone together for a photo! This includes representatives from West Central Abilities, West Central Crisis Center, Kindersley and District Food Bank, Enbridge, and the Kindersley and District Co-op's board of directors, and GM, Trevor Bond.
The cheque was split into the following amounts to help these vital organizations in our community!
$15,000 donated to West Central Crisis Center
$6269 donated to West Central Abilities
$5000 donated to Kindersley and District Food Bank
