Fuel Good Day 2026 raised $3,487.45 for West Central Abilities, marking the largest donation in Kindersley & District Co-op's ten-year history of participating in the annual fundraiser.

Kindersley & District Co-op is celebrating a milestone following another successful Fuel Good Day, held on September 15, 2026. Thanks to the incredible generosity of members, customers and surrounding communities, a record-breaking $3,487.45 was raised in support of West Central Abilities.

This year's donation marks the largest amount raised by Kindersley & District Co-op since Fuel Good Day began ten years ago.

Communities Come Together for a Great Cause

Fuel Good Day brought residents of Kindersley, Eatonia and surrounding communities together to support West Central Abilities, an organization dedicated to providing opportunities, programs and services for individuals with diverse abilities.

Funds were raised through several initiatives:

• Fuel Purchases: 10 cents from every litre of fuel sold at the Kindersley Co-op C-Store and Eatonia Farm Supply on September 15 was donated.

• Extreme Car Wash Promotion: Thanks to Turtle Wax, $2 from every Extreme Car Wash purchased between September 9 and 15 was donated.

• Community BBQs: Additional funds were raised through fundraising barbecues held in Kindersley and Eatonia on Fuel Good Day.

Together, these contributions helped achieve a new fundraising record while supporting an organization that makes a meaningful difference in our region.

Celebrating During Co-op Week

The official cheque presentation took place on October 13 at the Kindersley Co-op C-Store, during Co-op Week (October 11–17).

This year's Co-op Week theme, Power the Economy, highlights the important role co-operatives play in strengthening local economies, supporting community organizations and creating opportunities.

Presenting the donation during Co-op Week was a fitting reminder of what it means to be locally invested and community minded.

Thank You for Making a Difference!

Kindersley & District Co-op extends a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who helped make Fuel Good Day 2026 a success.

Whether you filled your tank, purchased a car wash, attended a barbecue, volunteered your time or helped spread the word, your support contributed to this record-breaking achievement.

We are incredibly proud to support West Central Abilities and the important work they do throughout our region.

Ten years of Fuel Good Day. Our largest donation yet. One incredible community effort.
