Expanded Pharmacy Services Now Available
Announced by the Provincial Government on Friday, September 11, 2026, Pharmacists at select locations, including Kindersley & District Co-op Pharmacy, have received specialized training to assess patients experiencing symptoms of ear infections and strep throat, perform rapid strep testing, and determine appropriate treatment options, including prescribing medication when required.
This expansion of pharmacy services will help improve access to timely, quality healthcare for patients in our community.
The assessment service is government funded and is available to residents with a valid Saskatchewan Health Card.
To help ensure the safety of our patients and staff, as well as provide adequate time for a thorough assessment, patients are asked to call the pharmacy in advance to schedule an appointment.
To book an appointment, please call Kindersley & District Co-op Pharmacy at 306-463-2770.
Appointments are available Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
"We are pleased to offer this expanded service to our community and look forward to helping improve access to healthcare for residents of Kindersley and surrounding communities." said Kindersley Co-op Pharmacy Manager, Carissa Faye.
