Owners, Customers of Kindersley & District Co-op,
One of our team members at our C-Store in Kindersley, SK informed us on Saturday January 23, 2021 that they received a positive test result for COVID-19. Our team member worked on Sunday January 17, 2021 from 7pm – 10pm, and has been self-isolating since, and will continue to do so until instructed by the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
We have been in contact with the Health Authority and will continue to follow the directions they provide. The health and safety of our team members and our customers is paramount as we provide essential goods and face this challenge together.
Our priority remains to serve our friends and neighbours while keeping our team members and customers safe and healthy. Kindersley & District Co-op will continue to use our already high standard for frequent cleaning, sanitization and practicing physical distancing measures (including utilizing the plexi-glass barriers at our counters). We have and will continue to encourage all our team members to seek testing and to undergo self-isolation if they feel any potential COVID-19 symptoms.
We understand the impacts of COVID-19, which is why we want to be transparent and disclose broad details about the confirmed cases like the one while ensuring the confidentiality of our team members.
We will rely on Saskatchewan Health Authority for their alerts of potential contacts in our communities at www.saskhealthauthority.ca/news
We thank our Kindersley & District Co-op customers and community members for joining us as we all take the necessary precautions to keep our community safe. We care greatly for the communities we work and live in and as a local member-owned business, we take the responsibility to protect our communities seriously.
