Celebrating Our New Agro Centre
The Kindersley & District Co-op officially celebrated the grand opening of its new Agro Centre on Tuesday, June 23, marking an exciting milestone in its continued investment in agriculture and the communities it serves.
Located five kilometres west of Flaxcombe on Highway 7, the new Agro Centre was built to better support producers across west-central Saskatchewan with improved access to crop inputs, fertilizer, agronomic expertise and customer service.
The celebration welcomed members, customers, suppliers, contractors, community partners and employees for an afternoon of connection, including a barbecue lunch, live music, prize giveaways and an official ribbon-cutting ceremony.
A Commitment to Local Agriculture

Kindersley & District Co-op General Manager Blair Ferner welcomed guests and reflected on the significance of the new facility.
"Today marks the culmination of years of planning, hard work and investment in the future of agriculture in western Saskatchewan. This facility represents our commitment to providing local producers with the products, services and expertise they need to succeed."
The strategically located Agro Centre allows the Co-op to better serve producers throughout the trading area while creating efficiencies that will support agriculture for years to come.
Built for Today's Producers

The new Agro Centre has been designed with modern farming in mind, featuring expanded fertilizer handling capabilities, crop input storage, agronomic services and improved logistics to help customers make the most of every season.
With increased capacity and a centralized location, the facility enables the Co-op team to provide faster, more efficient service while continuing to deliver the local expertise producers rely on.
Celebrating with the Community

Following the official program, guests enjoyed a complimentary barbecue lunch while visiting with the Co-op team, touring the customer areas of the facility and connecting with industry partners.

Live entertainment by Cole Patton added to the celebration, while attendees had the opportunity to win a variety of door prizes throughout the afternoon.
The event reflected the strong relationships that exist between the Co-op, its members and the agricultural community.
